President’s Circle Award

President’s Circle Award Winner Keeps Can-Do Attitude

Conquering the newest challenge on the horizon is something Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) Account Executive Chris Ardary has always looked forward to. And it doesn’t matter to her whether she takes on those challenges at home or in the office. On any given weekend you may find Chris, husband Doug, and yellow Lab, Bridger plunging enthusiastically into such daunting outdoors activities as wilderness whitewater rafting or climbing Montana’s majestic peaks.

That trait carries over seamlessly to the daily tests she encounters at work as well. As part of BCBSMT’s Helena-based sales team, Chris must carefully balance a multitude of tasks in the home office with frequent travel around the state to meet with clients.

Recently, Chris’s positive can-do attitude, coupled with an exceptional ability to tackle the difficult challenges associated with her job, culminated in her receiving the President’s Circle Award. The award, which recognizes top performers in BCBSMT’s marketing division, is given to account executives who have won a friendly competition with their colleagues based on the amount of existing business they have retained, additional sales made and other performance measurements.

Chris studied at Lockhaven University of Pennsylvania, before joining BCBSMT in 1998. She began her career in customer service, became a customer service supervisor, and then was promoted to a manager position. Later she transitioned to the marketing department as an account executive, eventually serving many of BCBSMT’s large self-funded and fully insured group accounts.
